BIO

Formed in late 2010, Allison Red is a bit of both Metal/Hard Rock. Based out of Dallas, Texas, Allison Red consists of founding members and guitarists, Mark Stroface and Tracy Lane, along with John Cruz on bass, and features Blake Coddington on the lead vocals and drums. Their debut and self-titled album on Warped Records, Allison Red, blasted on the scene in Dallas in 2012, with songs and videos such as; Damn The Illusion, Runaway, and the orchestrated ballad Without You. The band’s original line-up consisted of; Mark Stroface, Tracy Lane, John Cruz, along with original vocalist David McClannahan, and original drummer Tony Aspero. After being nominated for “Best Live Hard Rock band in Dallas/Ft. Worth”, and achieving great success with video releases and radio support, Allison Red became a staple in the region for being one heavy-hitting Hard Rock band that consistently gained thousands of fans by giving them great songwriting and talented musicians, and a live show that never disappoints.

Allison Red’s sophomore album, Die Another Day, was several years in the making due to some line-up changes, but with such a strong fan base their fans never wavered. The album was engineered and recorded at One-Room Sound in Ft. Worth, Texas by Blake Coddington, and is released on Warped Records. Just prior to the release of their second album, co-founding member and guitarist Tracy Lane unexpectedly passed away on March 20, 2019. As Allison Red moves forward in support of the album’s release, they are currently trying to find a temporary or permanent replacement for their beloved brother Tracy Lane. Despite the hole left behind by Tracy’s passing, the band vows to make sure the world hears Tracy’s legacy in music, and final works, and has made it a priority to continue to strive for the success and perfection that has always been the vision of Allison Red. Music is what brought the band together, and their music is what brings the fans to them.

The early success of the new album almost certainly will continue to grow, and introduce new fans to the music and journey of Allison Red. The music on Die Another Day is as edgy and as strong as their debut album was, but it brings an entirely new level of musicianship, songwriting, and matured…but not too far from the sound and style that made them Allison Red.

**UPDATE**

On Wednesday March 20, 2019 Tracy Lane passed away due to a heart condition that he had dealt with for many years. We are without words as we go through this very surreal and trying time. We simply lost a great man, bandmate, friend, and lifelong brother. Rest in peace our friend! Your legacy will carry on through Allison Red, and the music you created.

Your brothers forever,

Mark & John
